Know Our Story
Established in 2015, AMSA Nepal is a registered medical student organization working to promote medical education excellence, professional development, and healthcare advocacy. AMSA Nepal was born out of a group of committed medical students, unofficially working in this sector since 2012. The initial focus was to develop leadership skills of medical students, to train as healthcare advocates and to promote positive change in Nepal's healthcare system.
This resulted in a wide and diverse array of knowledge, skills and experience in the medical field. It led to the realization of the seriousness of healthcare issues in Nepal and the need to act, which finally took the shape of AMSA Nepal. Since its formal establishment, AMSA Nepal has concentrated upon holistic medical education and is especially working on three thematic areas - Medical Education, Public Health Advocacy, and International Exchange Programs...
